New business member login
If you are currently signed up with online banking, login and follow these simple steps.
If you are new to Alterna Savings digital business banking, follow the one-time authentication process below to access digital banking.
- Log in in the top right-hand corner to be directed to the Welcome page of online banking.
- On the Online Banking Welcome page, where it says, “Register to log in” to register for digital banking access.
- From the “Did you know you can access your accounts anytime, anywhere?” screen, select Start Now and follow the step-by-step process.
- Step 1: Enter your account/member number. To set up digital banking for a business, you must enter your profile number in step 1 of the profile setup. Your profile number would have been communicated when your business account was opened. If you do not have your profile number, please call our Contact Centre at 1.877.560.0100.
- Select Continue to proceed to Step 2.
- Select Cancel to exit digital banking.
- Step 2: Confirm your contact details. The mobile phone number and/or email address we have on file will appear on the screen*. To proceed, select Send Code to the mobile phone number and/or email address displayed.
- After selecting Send Code to the Contact details on the screen:
- A code will be sent to the displayed email address and/or mobile phone via text.
- A validation pop-up window will open for each method of contact.
- Enter the code in the validation pop-up screens and select Confirm.
- Select Continue to complete the authentication process and proceed to Step 3, or
- Select Cancel to exit digital banking.
- After selecting Send Code to the Contact details on the screen:
*Attention: If any of the contact information displayed in Step 2 is wrong or entirely missing, please call the Contact Centre at 1.877.560.0100 to update your contact information to continue. You are not able to change your contact information on this screen for security reasons.
- Step 3: Choose a password. Your password must meet the password requirements listed on the screen. Once entered and confirmed,
- Select Continue to proceed to Step 4.
- Select Cancel to exit digital banking.
- Step 4: Accept the Online Access Terms and Conditions Agreement.
- Download and read the Online access terms and conditions agreement.
- Click the box to confirm that you accept the terms and conditions.
- Select Continue to log in to online or mobile banking, or
- Select Cancel to exit digital banking.
- You are now all ready to access online and mobile banking with your new Login ID.
Record your new Login ID.
This Login ID is required for you to access businesses digital banking going forward.
- Continue to Log in from the “All ready!” page, or
- Begin the Log in process from any of new Alterna website webpages by selecting Log In in the top right corner to access the online banking Welcome page.
- From the Welcome page, follow the prompts to Log in.
- Enter your log in ID (member number) and select Continue.
- Enter your password and select Log in.
- From the Welcome page, follow the prompts to Log in.
- If at any time you want to leave the Log in screens, select Cancel or close the window.
If you are new to Alterna Savings digital business banking, follow the one-time authentication process below to access digital banking.
- Open the Alterna Savings mobile app.
- From the Welcome screen, choose “Register to log in” to register for digital banking access.
- On the “Did you know you can access your accounts anytime, anywhere?” screen, select Start Now and follow the step-by-step process.
